Our studio is located in Mission, right in the corner of Pecan and Royal Palm. It is a house that is exclusively used for yoga and meditation, this creates a unique atmosphere for relaxation and well being. When you arrive at Kundalini Yoga House, and come in thru our outside patio, you start feeling relaxed. It is the perfect setting for yoga practice. We have a white carpeted yoga room, spacious and with natural light, a small Yoga Shop where you can find books, tea, sheepskins, incense and other things for your yoga practice, a kitchen to serve yogi tea and more.
At Kundalini Yoga House we offer different classes to meet the needs of our students, no "one size fits all yoga", instead we have specific programs that will help you achieve what you are looking for.
We offer Yoga for Stress Relief, Yoga for Harmony, Yoga for Women, Prenatal Yoga and Yoga 4 Kids. We also have early morning yoga and meditation on Saturdays (Sadhana).

Frequently Asked Questions
Did you know... Yoga Journal magazine recently commissioned the Roper Poll in the US to do a nationwide survey exploring peoples views on yoga. It found that 6 million Americans practice yoga regularly. Also an additional 16 million expressed an interest in taking classes!
What is YOGA?
The word yoga comes from the ancient Indian language called Sanskrit, and it means union. It can be thought as a yoke, of sorts, binding together the body mind and spirit. Although it can be practiced religiously every day, yoga is not a religion. A more accurate description of yoga would be to say that it is an ancient science.
What is Kundalini Yoga?
There are many different types of yoga. Kundalini Yoga, also called the yoga of awareness, consists of simple yogic techniques that can be practiced by everyone. Positive effects can often be noticed right away. The use of postures in combination with pranayam (breathing techniques) mantras (sound current) mudras (hand positions) and meditation (yoga for the mind) make Kundalini Yoga a very complete technique that works both quickly and efficiently. A regular practice of Kundalini Yoga revitalizes every single part of you, right down to the cellular level. It strengthens and balances the nervous and glandular systems releasing feel good chemicals from the brain.
What should I wear to class?
You should wear loose, comfortable clothing, preferably made of cotton or other natural, breathable fiber. It is best to remove your socks to help stimulate the approximately 72,000 nerve endings in your feet. Wearing white is preferred as it is the infinite of all colors and is psychologically uplifting. It will make you look radiant!
What do I need to bring to class?
Bring a mat of natural fibers such as cotton or wool for padding and insulation. Using a sheepskin is recommended because it will give support to your back. Also bring a shawl to cover your body during relaxation and meditation when your body is cooling off. It will keep your body temperature constant. Cover your head with a cotton head covering to conceal your energy or try wearing a turban. A turban will give you a cranial adjustment and will keep you focused.
How long should I wait after I have eaten to practice yoga?
It is good to wait two to three hours after eating before you practice yoga and meditation. This will help you gain the maximum benefits, plus it is easier to exercise on an empty stomach. If you must eat, eat something light.
